Reality Check follows your journey.
From the first decision to seek legal remedy to what happens inside the institutions meant to deliver it.
We examine the law, the process and the data: registration and non-registration of complaints, investigations, court proceedings, pendency, delays, institutional capacity and outcomes.
But we also go on the ground.
We ask questions. We speak to people. We observe what happens beyond the paperwork, the statistics and the official record.
Because justice is not only what the law promises.
It is what happens when you need it.
What the Numbers Say. What People Say.

Why the latest data is already old?
National crime and justice statistics in India are typically published 1.5–2 years after collection because they require verification across thousands of police stations, courts and government agencies. Pardā uses the most recent verified data available while acknowledging this reporting gap.
